This bench would be perfect if the seat was higher than 18 inches. I have been searching for a taller bench with "liftaide" arms, but everyone I find that says its taller is because of the handles and the seat is still the same height as a dining chair. My husband needs a higher bench (like his walker seat) that he can pull himself up from, Does anyone make one with a higher seat?
I have been injured and need a bench with arms in the shower. This fulfills the need, it is very sturdyand looks a feels much better than the medical style plastic bench I had.
This real teak shower bench is very well made. Dowels and screws. Sturdy no wobble. Will hold a substantial amount of weight. Beautiful design. Chair height, at least 18" high, makes it easier to rise and the arms are perfect height. Im 5'11" and this is a good height for me. Much nicer looking than plastic hospital chairs. Make your bath look like a spa and not a hospital. Does not disappoint
Quality was evident as I was unpacking the box. First of all this was very well packed to prevent damage. Each assembled piece has a beautiful finish with peg construction and excellent fit. Assembly of the four pieces out of the box requires only eight bolts and a few minutes as it fits together perfectly. The only caution I would offer on assembly is to be sure to seat the enclosed allen wrench completely into the bolt head when tightening. The bolts seem to be made from a softer alloy and it… would not be hard to round out the wrench slot if in a hurry. This a nice heavy piece of furniture that we like it so well we are ordering another smaller version for a different room.
Two elderly people put this together just fine. This bench looks great, is heavy duty, and fits perfectly in our newly remodeled shower. Love the handles on the sides. They reduce possible falls and helps to raise us up from a seated position.
This is a great product purchased for my elderly parents they needed something elegant and sturdy. It’s sizable so we are returning for the smaller size however it’s very nice and comfortable for them!

We got this for my mom to use in the shower instead of off medical grade hospital looking chair that she was using before. It worked well for us because it was 29 inches in width which is the same width as our standing shower floor inside the lip. The bench tucked inside perfectly and doesn’t move a bit. I really appreciate the adjusting levelers on the bottom of the feet. Perfect! It’s beautiful and functional! Love it!!
Assembly was easy and fast
This is being used as a shower bench in my newly remodeled bathroom. I am disabled and the height is perfect. I chose this design for the upright handles on each side to help me on and off the bench safely. It can be easily moved out of the way when not in use. Perfect for my needs!
