- Measure the shower floor. Benches are 14″ deep. Choose 24″ for a standard stall and 30″ if there’s room to spare.
- Check the seat height. When seated, feet should rest flat on the floor with knees about level with the hips. Our benches range from 18″ to 19″ high.
- Check the weight limit. Choose a 300 lb model for extra margin.

Do the benches need assembly?
Yes, a simple assembly is required. Each bench ships with its hardware.
Will it fit in a bathtub?
All five benches are 14″ deep. Measure the flat floor area of the tub before ordering.
Will it get slippery or rot?
Teak is naturally water-resistant, and the slatted seat drains quickly so water doesn’t pool. The galvanized steel hardware resists rust.
Can it be used outside the shower?
Yes. The benches also work in the bathroom, by a pool or on a patio.

Routine 1: Everyday Care for Shower Benches & Indoor Teak
For pieces in your EarthyTeak® or Woodland Brown factory finish.
| 1 | Rinse with clean water after every use. Soap and shampoo residue left sitting on teak will slowly break down the finish. |
| 2 | Wash weekly to monthly with Teak & Bamboo Furniture Cleaner. Don’t forget the underside of the seat, where residue collects. |
| 3 | Apply Teak Protective Oil once the finish looks dry, pale or dull. This re-moisturizes the wood and revives its color. |
| 4 | Optional — seal it in with Teak Protexion. Applied right after the oil has soaked in, for extra moisture and mildew resistance. |

For decks, patio furniture, docks, or any teak that has grayed, dulled, or picked up tannin/rust stains from the elements.
