Is teak good for a shower bench?

Does a teak shower bench need to be sealed or oiled?

How do I clean mold or mildew off a teak shower bench?
The EPA recommends scrubbing with plain detergent and water, drying completely, and increasing bathroom ventilation to prevent recurrence — harsh chemicals aren't necessary. Teak's natural oils resist mildew better than most woods, but soap scum still needs regular cleaning like any shower surface.
